My name is Brianne and I am the owner here at Farmhouse Soap Company, located in Kearney, Missouri.  

Every product you receive has been lovingly handmade in small batches by me.  I also design each label and hand package every item.  A lot of time and love has gone into these products and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. 

 

How did I get started making soap?

In 2008, my mom, sister, and I traveled to Prince Edward Island.  While touring the island we visited a handmade soap shop that had their own goats and made fantastic soaps and lotions.  We bought so many goodies to bring back home and I loved how they felt on my skin.  After that trip, I immersed myself in soap making videos and books.  I was fascinated by the chemistry and artistry that goes into making a beautiful bar of soap.  In 2010 my daughter was born and I became a new stay at home mom.  By Christmas of that year, I was craving a creative outlet for myself.  So, I bought enough soap making and bath bomb making supplies to make Christmas presents for my entire family.  I joined my first craft fair that spring as Farmhouse Soap Company.
